Fix-a-Flat

When getting back from dropping Frost off at work around 10am, I knew I had quite the quest awaiting me! I had to call Tire Discounters to see if I could get an appointment for them to check out our tire. It was in the back of our van. Went flat Sunday while Danny & Frost were out. Valve stem snapped off. {Deep sigh}

Now, if you would happen to know me personally, you probably know that I detest making phone calls with a fiery passion. It is an acquired anxiety that really isn't reasonable. I'm not even sure HOW I picked it up!! Before deciding to become a full time stay at home mom, I worked in call centers! I answered & made phone calls for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Why is it NOW that my heart & pulse is racing, and I'm feeling pretty panicked just to pick up the phone?? Weird!!

Anywho...I made the call, grudgingly....and got myself an appointment at 3pm! Frost got off work at 2pm. So, of course, that means....

*WENDY'S FOR LUNCH*!!!!

Who else gets the 4 for $4 like we do?? Did you all know there are new items for sandwich choices?? At least there was at the location we were at today!! I was pretty excited, but just stuck with my usual Double Stack!! Frost chose the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, and even got himself a chili to dip his sandwich in. Yes...you read that right...

DIP. HIS. SANDWICH. IN. CHILI...

After finishing our food, we headed on over to Tire Discounters. Turns out our valve stem thingy was broke off of the sensor thingy....and since the sensor thingy was a manufacturer piece, they had to replace the whole thing....for $87!!! But, on the bright side, if it ever breaks off again, they can fix it for free. Thank goodness for small miracles.

In all seriousness, we are very thankful to be off the spare!! A quick stop at the library, then we were on our way back home!! Had the boys help me do a quick clean before it was time for Zach to do his live stream on Mixer. Which means time for some relaxing for the Momma!
