Let Go

*Deep sigh*

At the end of April, Danny was LET GO from his job of 20 years.

With that, we also had to LET GO of the security of a paycheck & health insurance.

Without insurance, I decided I wanted to LET GO of my dependence on my meds. So this past month, I have been dealing with detoxing my body from the chemicals that I have been putting into it. I'm doing better, but also know I still have a distance to go.

As a family, we are learning about how to LET GO of expectations. When you expect to be at the same company until you retire, it takes a minute to adjust. And when you are tinkering with the idea that life doesn't have to be stationary, it takes time for everyone to see the vision.

I have been working my way through our house finding different things to LET GO of. Stuff bought, and now just taking up space. If it is a traveler's life I'm searching for, I can't have a ton of baggage weighing us down!!

*Deep sigh*

We have been "on hold" for the past month.

At least that is what it has felt like.

Trust the wait.

Trying to figure out which direction we want to go.

What is possible for us.

So much uncertainty.

Embrace the uncertainty.

We are in this unique situation where the world feels wide open to us.

But...with that, it also feels very scary & overwhelming!

Enjoy the beauty of becoming.

Danny & I have talked....A LOT...about what direction we would like to go.

Traveling...it is one topic that keeps coming up!

I think it would be amazing to travel the country.

See new things, and go on LOTS of adventures!

I believe over this past month, it has gone from be just a dream,

to becoming a real goal!

When nothing is certain, anything is possible.

Beginning last week, Danny started a new job.

Not only to provide his family with what we need,

but also to fund our future travels!!

{HOPEFULLY!!!}

The job is still in the cable industry, but through a contracting company.

Definitely going to be a bit different than what he is used to,

but I know he will do great!

We have a new destiny in front of us.

One that is unclear, but we feel that it is definitely what we want!

Filled with hesitations, but we will keep moving forward!

With bounds of wonderment & marvel!!
