I know I've shared about our "Happy 29th" a few times before. But wanted to give it a post of it's own here today!

Danny & I was married on June 29th...a couple or so years ago, we came up with the idea of celebrating US being married, not only 1x a year, but EVERY month of the year!! So on the 29th of each month, {we call it our "Happy 29th"}, we try our best to do SOMETHING together.

Sometimes we go out on a date, dinner & a movie. Other times it is just coffee & watching our favorite shows at home. Sometimes we don't do anything because we get busy with life, and work, and kids, and everything...it ends up passing right by, and we don't even notice!! But, I've come up with a solution for THAT!!

In my 2018 calendar, every month, there is a HUGE red heart around the 29th block, with big letters, "HAPPY 29TH" written inside!!

This year, we are also trying something new...we each get certain months to plan something special for the two of us!! We will go back & forth...Danny has January, I have February, Danny has March, and so on. I have written, inside that great big heart, who's month it is...so we won't forget!!

There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved
***

I'm hoping adding this little extra element to it, we won't let a month go by missing our special day!! I'm already pretty excited to see what Danny will plan for us in January!

We decided that for our actual Wedding Anniversary we will BOTH plan for that one.

I am suggesting that all of you do something similar to this for yourself & your special guy!! Just give it a try...see how you like it, and go from there!!

Who wouldn't like a special time out with the love of their life!!

First things first...Talk with your hubby!! See what he thinks!! Get him on board!!

Next pick a day that means something special to you...

The calendar number of the day you got married.

Pick the number of how many years you've been married.

If you were married on the 2nd Saturday of a month, then pick the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Were the two of you the same age when you got married?? That could be a good number.

Did you have any children on the day you were married?? For us, Arlee & Frost were there...so that would make our number 2...so the 2nd of each month could be our day.

I would recommend the number being something special that represents your wedding & marriage, since that is what you are celebrating....but that is definitely NOT a hard rule!! Whatever number or whatever that works for YOU is PERFECT!!!

Then just enjoy the anticipation of your upcoming special day!!

Be sure to let us know how it's going, or how it went!!

If you are looking for suggestions, let us know...we can help out!!!

While you are on your date, if you want to...take a SELFIE of the two of you!!! And some other pictures if you get the chance!! Do this EVERY month. At the end of the year, you can make a picture book or album of all of your special days!!!

Got some other ideas or suggestions??

We want to hear them!!

Just comment them below!!

Love & Light,

Jenn
